Blog catalog is a great networking and educational tool for bloggers. For example i have been introduced to some great bloggers and blogs on blog catalog that i would not have known about otherwise.
A very strong networking feature on blog catalog is the discussion boards. the one time i posted a discussion within half an hour i had 19 people speaking on the topic and had a few friend invites, which is amazing since I'm an introvert! check it out if you are into blogging its pretty cool.
