BitLaw is a website related to the laws surrounding technology that i am tentative to link to em in case they come and sue me for something you know how lawyers are?...anyways bitlaw is a great site if you are getting into the internet business so you dont make a mistake and base your whole business on some illegal thing. unfortunately the law cannot effectively evolve as fast as technology and many times people who are not in fields of technology cannot really comprehend where the law lies in the new medium. some interpret the internet as a place of freedom and openly overstep the line. in reality the internet is a highly regulated place and many bloggers and website business people have come under fire of the law because quite frankly the general public hates online billionaires and wants to bring them down anyway possible. with that said please research the laws and save yourself the pain in the ass and the money of getting sued because lawyers and haters are out to ruin your life. sure bill gates and the google people get sued too like every hour but they also own the world and happily put a computer virus in the judges laptop via the internet serchering that the judge is always looking at. get the point keep up with the law and stay on the good side. the consequences and cons of breaking the law are the greater pain in the ass then being a 'good' citizen.
