Plurk.Com is a social site much like twitter where one basically offers up short snippets of text or whatever to up date the world on your own personally happenings. Plurk and Twitter are both known to be very good places to advertise various things and some people have made good money on these weird hybrid neo social sites. Either Web 2.0 has taken a turn for the worse (if it is not already dead) or plurk and twitter are the future of the internet. either way many bloggers and business types leverage mad traffic to advertising, businesses and websites using plurk, twitter, the face book or whatever. these sites love to regulate how one can make money on them so act fast while they are new, because soon plurk like the facebook before will come down on the accounts of the internet business revenue pro in you. nothing is more fun than abusing the system, then getting kicked out with a wad of cash! who me a spammer? either way the verdict is up but in plurk getting your karma up ie making them look bettar is the name of the game though like the name of the game on most social sites is wasting your time and that is exactly what plurk means to drain the internet business types of their time when they could be micro posting to their blog and driving traffic to their online business. use plurk for announcements if you want for some traffic and social awares but put it down. remember who cares that you beat level 8 in mario three in the same way being a whore to plurk or twitter or facebook or myspace will seem silly down the pike. use your online time wisely
